Safe working conditions are currently a particular challenge, as occupational safety must be extended to include infection prevention measures. To protect our employees, we have taken many additional steps in addition to the standards of the German Federal Government. We have now been awarded the COVID 19 occupational health and safety standard seal of approval by the B·A·D Gesundheitsvorsorge und Sicherheitstechnik GmbH for our practiced occupational health and safety and the passed risk assessment.

Our numerous measures:

Active communication of all occupational safety measures

With regular newsletters & posters, everyone at REISSWOLF is always up to date with the latest information. Hygiene instructions, such as thorough hand washing and correct disinfection, are of course also provided again and again.

Occupational safety supplemented by protection against infection

All standards are complied with, such as a minimum distance of 1.5 m, avoidance of direct contact or additional protection in the event of unavoidable contact, e.g. by using face masks, as well as special protection for risk groups. In addition, all non-operational employees have been working in the home office for several weeks. Meetings take place exclusively online – also with customers or service providers. Stairwells, kitchens, break and meeting rooms as well as the smoking area are used strictly separated according to sales or company employees and extensively disinfected every day. In addition, fixed transfer points have been set up. An additional shift system has been set up at all Hamburg locations, not only to minimise the risk of infection, but also to ensure that operations continue to function to a limited extent in an emergency.

Development of routine measures in the event of infection

In addition to weekly information on current travel warnings and risk areas, all employees are requested to call in sick immediately if the first symptoms appear and to contact their doctor immediately and provide active feedback. In addition, since this week all employees are recommended to use the new Corona Warning App.
