Quality management + information security = REISSWOLF.

There are only a few task areas that have gained as much importance in a company over the last decade as information security. The only area with a comparable level of priority is the complex issue of sustainability. Both are often driven by external requirements - whether legally by the EU Directive on Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSR) and the General Data Protection Regulation or economically by the growing number of cyberattacks, acts of sabotage and human carelessness that can lead to business disruption.

A well-structured information security management system (ISMS) in line with ISO/IEC 27001 has always made sense. Today it is nearly indispensable. It is all about identifying, evaluating and managing risks. The protection of sensitive information and data is a key part of this. This is one of our core business areas and has been for almost 40 years. ISO/IEC 27001 certification means that there is a strong focus on process orientation and interactions within the company. In addition, the criteria for security measures are aligned with current security threats and organizational methods. After certification, yearly audits are carried out for monitoring purposes - we have just been successfully audited again in the first quarter by DQS GmbH.

Around 1,500 companies in Germany are currently certified in line with the globally recognized ISO/IEC 27001 standard. REISSWOLF has been one of them for many years.

The 5 major benefits for certified organizations:

  • Constant improvement of the security level through continuous adjustments.
  • Reduction of risks, as potential threats can be identified and eliminated at an early stage.
  •  Adherence to compliance guidelines because legal and regulatory requirements are systematically supported.
  • Employees are sensitized and develop a growing awareness of information security and data protection.
  • High customer satisfaction - a very significant added value.

All of this is supported by sustainable quality management (QM) in accordance with ISO 9001, which documents effective processes for all products and services that must comply with these seven QM principles: From customer orientation and general relationship management to leadership qualities and personal commitment through to process orientation, improvement approaches and fact-based decision-making. We also successfully passed the DQS audit for this in the first quarter.

The most important realization of any ISO 9001-certified company is that a quality management system only works if committed individuals in an organization succeed in bringing quality into their day-to-day activities and processes. The annual DQS audits show how successful we have become in this respect, when every department at REISSWOLF impressively demonstrates how structured and reflective processes are established and challenged. And how purposefully we work towards our clear vision: To be the first point of contact for all SMEs when it comes to all questions relating to data protection and the security of their document management.
